Control Systems Engineer

Clarity Partners are supporting an Engineering Consultancy whoare seeking a skilled and experienced Control Systems Engineer to join a dynamic team. If you have a background in mining and expertise in PLC and SCADA systems, we want to hear from you.

As a Control Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining control systems to optimise mining operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our processes, contributing to the overall success of our mining projects.

The ideal candidate will have the following: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in control systems engineering, with a focus on the mining industry Proficiency in programming and configuring Rockwell PLC systems (RSLogix 5000, Studio 5000). Strong understanding of control system design principles and best practices. Experience with HMI/SCADA systems, particularly Rockwell Automation software (FactoryTalk View) and SCADA Citect . Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus). Familiarity with instrumentation and control devices commonly used in mining operations Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
