About the Role Due to our continued growth, we are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Control Systems Engineer to work on multiple renewable energy construction projects. Reporting to our Engineering and Commissioning Manager you will be responsible for the overall concept design and FEED for control systems as per the project specifications. In addition, some of your key responsibilities will include;
Preparation of the overall concept control system architectureEngaging contractors to supply SCADA equipment based on contractual requirements.Supporting the procurement team to analyse costs related to SCADA equipment purchase and engaging SCADA contractors.Oversee PLC, RTU, HMI and SCADA programming.Execute commissioning of SCADA system to validate the control system functionality and ensuring they meet project requirements and standards.Coordinating with project and client teams to achieve control system project objectives.Participate in the development and implementation of standards and best practices for control system engineering in renewable energy industry and grid operating security.About You The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following;
Bachelor's degree in electrical/electronic engineering or similar5+ years' experience in controls system design and development within the automation industry.Strong technical knowledge and ability with significant experience in the management of a wide range of PLC's.High level attention to detail, communication, negotiation and influencing skills.Strong experience in the practical application of MS office Suite and CADStrong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.The ability to work in fast paced environment and be able to prioritise, multitask and think on your feet.How to Apply To apply for this opportunity, please submit your application, including detailed CV and covering letter, via the Apply button.
