Electrical/Electronic Engineering (Engineering)Full timeAs the Control Systems Engineer, you will support and develop the ongoing design and implementation of LGI plant control and SCADA systems. These systems ensure the reliable operation and monitoring of LGI's power station and biogas flaring facilities, enabling remote operation through a centralised engineering platform. This may require you to at times travel to LGI's current and planned projects across the east coast of Australia.Coordinating and ensuring that all control system development is clearly documented and designed in accordance with best practice guidelines.Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and LGI's Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) policies.Contributing to continuous improvement and the implementation of process improvements throughout the LGI asset base.Collaborating with fellow Control System Engineers, engineers of other disciplines and other team members.Maintaining regular communication with relevant stakeholders regarding project status and issues.Key Selection Criteria:Bachelor's Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or related.3+ years of experience in control system engineering.Outstanding attention to detail and a commitment to quality.Strong motivation, enthusiasm, and initiative.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.Experience with Schneider and Panasonic PLCs.Experience in developing with Red Lion HMIs and/or Ignition SCADA.Knowledge of wiring diagrams and panel design.Who we are:LGI is a specialist business in landfill gas management and renewable energy generation.
