Key Responsibilities: Safely operate plant equipment through the dedicated SCADA Operating system by providing continual controlling, monitoring, adjusting, recording, and optimisation of the circuit Responsible for the Short Interval Control (SIC) reporting process, ensuring hourly data is input accurately, detailed commentary and failure modes added against all negative variances and issues escalated as per Trigger Response Plan Escalate any production related issues as required to the Production Supervisor for further action or assistance Maintain a detailed and accurate shift log book for reporting to Production Supervisor on all activities, downtime and Production issues Maintain operational discipline and consistency across shifts and teams by adhering to operating strategies/philosophies, troubleshooting guides and escalation protocols at all times In addition to other production team personnel, the Control Room Operator is required to develop critical working relationships and provide operational interface with the multiple functions Participate in the identification, development and implementation of relevant improvement projects particularly around control and optimisation Provide control room specific training, coaching and mentoring for Process Operator personnel as required Proactively contribute to maintaining and improving all operational systems and procedures Completion of any other tasks and activities, including but not limited to Mobile and Fixed Plant Operations, within your competency as directed by the Site Leadership Team Participate in hazard identification, assessment and control Report any safety incident/ hazard to your Supervisor within 30 minutes Conduct a job hazard analysis prior to commencing any new task Ensure 100% compliance with company policies and safety procedures                  Actively participate in handover, pre-start, safety and toolbox meetings Good verbal and written communication skills What is required: Certificate III Resource Processing (desirable) Relevant Mobile Plant Tickets Valid C Class drivers licence Working at heights / Confined Spaces / Gas Test Atmospheres  National Police Check Sound understanding and previous experience in mineral processing operations Detailed knowledge of process control fundamentals and philosophy Previous experience with GE Cimplicity SCADA operating System (desirable) High level of computer literacy Ability to work well under pressure and manage time effectively At Mineral Resources, we are committed to employing individuals who align with our values and meet the requirements of the role.
