What we offer: Full-time positionsFIFO from PerthCompetitive rates – plus quarterly bonuses!8/6,7/7 Family Friendly rosterIndustry-leading food provided at MinRes site camps – run by MinRes' own chefs!Opportunity for career progression and trainingAccess to MinRes employee benefit program – including MinRes MyShare PlanFinancial rewards for successful referrals!Key Responsibilities: Safely operate plant equipment through the dedicated SCADA Operating system by providing continual controlling, monitoring, adjusting, recording, and optimisation of the circuitResponsible for the Short Interval Control (SIC) reporting process, ensuring hourly data is input accurately, detailed commentary and failure modes added against all negative variances and issues escalated as per Trigger Response PlanEscalate any production related issues as required to the Production Supervisor for further action or assistanceMaintain a detailed and accurate shift log book for reporting to Production Supervisor on all activities, downtime and Production issuesMaintain operational discipline and consistency across shifts and teams by adhering to operating strategies/philosophies, troubleshooting guides and escalation protocols at all timesIn addition to other production team personnel, the Control Room Operator is required to develop critical working relationships and provide operational interface with the multiple functionsParticipate in the identification, development and implementation of relevant improvement projects particularly around control and optimisationProvide control room specific training, coaching and mentoring for Process Operator personnel as requiredProactively contribute to maintaining and improving all operational systems and proceduresCompletion of any other tasks and activities, including but not limited to Mobile and Fixed Plant Operations, within your competency as directed by the Site Leadership TeamParticipate in hazard identification, assessment and controlReport any safety incident/ hazard to your Supervisor within 30 minutesConduct a job hazard analysis prior to commencing any new taskEnsure 100% compliance with company policies and safety proceduresActively participate in handover, pre-start, safety and toolbox meetingsGood verbal and written communication skillsWhat is required: Certificate III Resource Processing (desirable)Relevant Mobile Plant TicketsValid C Class drivers licenceWorking at heights / Confined Spaces / Gas Test AtmospheresNational Police CheckSound understanding and previous experience in mineral processing operationsDetailed knowledge of process control fundamentals and philosophyPrevious experience with GE Cimplicity SCADA operating System (desirable)High level of computer literacyAbility to work well under pressure and manage time effectivelyAt Mineral Resources, we are committed to employing individuals who align with our values and meet the requirements of the role.
