Location: Moranbah (DIDO) Remuneration/Benefit: Attractive salary We are currently seeking experienced telecommunications Tradespeople to support the maintenance of Aurizon's infrastructure assets across Central Queensland.
About the role: 8 days on 6 days off roster and requirement to be on call on a scheduled basis Relevant reporting and accurate record keeping as required Conduct routine & preventative maintenance and repair of assets Complete fault finding, rectification, commissioning, and decommissioning tasks Ensure materials and tools are maintained appropriately and available to support scheduled works Out of town travel across Central Queensland Coal Network for closures/maintenance as required About you: Current Class C Drivers Licence (essential) ACA Base Cabling and Restricted Electrical Work licences (essential) Certificate III in Electronics & Communications Trade Qualification (essential) Restricted Electrical Licence (desirable) Highly skilled in the repair, maintenance, and overhaul of Rail based telecommunications and asset protection assets Industrial telecommunications systems knowledge and experience Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal Substantial knowledge and experience with defects and fault rectification, testing and commissioning/decommissioning of network systems What we offer you: At Aurizon, we support the development and growth of our employees.
