Control & Comms System TechApply now Job Number:94478-204487Work type:Permanent - Full TimeLocation:Jilalan, MoranbahCategories:Trade & Services, Trades Location: Moranbah (DIDO)Remuneration/Benefit: Attractive salaryWe are currently seeking experienced telecommunications Tradespeople to support the maintenance of Aurizon's infrastructure assets across Central Queensland.About the role: 8 days on 6 days off roster and requirement to be on call on a scheduled basisRelevant reporting and accurate record keeping as requiredConduct routine & preventative maintenance and repair of assetsComplete fault finding, rectification, commissioning, and decommissioning tasksEnsure materials and tools are maintained appropriately and available to support scheduled worksOut of town travel across Central Queensland Coal Network for closures/maintenance as requiredAbout you: Current Class C Drivers Licence (essential)ACA Base Cabling and Restricted Electrical Work licences (essential)Certificate III in Electronics & Communications Trade Qualification (essential)Restricted Electrical Licence (desirable)Highly skilled in the repair, maintenance, and overhaul of Rail based telecommunications and asset protection assetsIndustrial telecommunications systems knowledge and experience Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbalSubstantial knowledge and experience with defects and fault rectification, testing and commissioning/decommissioning of network systemsWhat we offer you: At Aurizon, we support the development and growth of our employees.
