Contracts Specialist: 6-Month Initial Contract Term The Role
This is a great opportunity to be part of the world's largest bulk export port authority as a Contracts Specialist based in Perth. This position is offered on an initial 6-month contract term basis.
You will be responsible for ensuring that critical port service contracts are negotiated, executed and administered in compliance with Pilbara Ports management systems, legal and statutory requirements and contractual obligations.
Key Responsibilities: Developing and overseeing systems ensuring Pilbara Ports complies with all codes and legal requirements All aspects of bid management including for new critical marine and terminal operation contracts Negotiating with sophisticated external stakeholders All aspects of contract execution and compliance with terms and conditions of contracts This is a newly created role in a welcoming and fast-paced team. The Contracts Specialist reports into the Commercial Manager- Critical Port Services.
About You
This role is ideally suited to experienced contract and procurement professionals from a range of industries including local and state government. Tertiary qualifications in one of business, commerce or law will be highly regarded.
You will have a pro-active and positive approach and enjoy working with a diverse range of people. Your communication and interpersonal skills will be at a high level, allowing you to build productive relationships both internally and with outside stakeholders.
