As Contract Professional, you will participate in subcontract formation and/or administration.
Subcontract formation includes leading preparation and review of bid request packages and developing project contracts operating procedures.
Subcontract administration includes continual progress review, forecasting, and communication of difficulties.
Your work will ensure subcontract compliance with project requirements.
This position is designated as part-time telework per our global telework policy and may require at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project.
Weekly in-person schedules will be determined by the individual and their supervisor, in consultation with functional or project leadership.
Major Responsibilities: Subcontract Management Implements the Supply Chain Assignment Schedule which records the Project's agreed assignment of various subcontract management tasks and the Standard Work Process Procedures applicable to Subcontract Management.
Manages assigned subcontracts maintaining a continual review of progress and providing management with information regarding projected financial or technical difficulties.
Coordinates with designated staff on operational activities affecting contractual rights and obligations, subcontract performance, and other major matters.
Manage moderately complex contract changes by negotiating with customer personnel and obtaining settlement.
Subcontract Formation Conforms and ensures subcontract execution.
Directs negotiation in the commitment of subcontracts.
Develops and issues subcontracts and services agreements as assigned.
Prepares bidders' lists and pre-qualifies bidders.
Forms bid request packages and issues bid request packages to approved bidders.
Other responsibilities as designated.
Education and Experience Requirements: Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience.
Experience in formation activities, award of large, moderately complex construction contracts and services contracts.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Demonstrated skills in working and communicating effectively with all levels of project functional groups.
Working knowledge of a wide range of contract types and associated pricing arrangements.
Demonstrated skills in change management procedures pertaining to Requests for Information (RFIs), change notices, change orders, amendments, and claims and dispute resolution.
Highly skilled in negotiating terms and conditions.
Working Rights in Australia without employer sponsorship are required.
