About the roleselectability is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive contracts officer to join our team.
Reporting to the contracts coordinator, you will play a crucial role assisting in managing and overseeing contractual agreements to ensure compliance and efficiency within our organisation.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assist with interpretation of block funded contracts and operational requirements.Ensure all contracts comply with relevant laws, regulations, and organisational policies.Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all contractual documents.Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate contract negotiations and resolve any issues.Identify potential risks in contractual agreements and suggest mitigation strategies.Provide administrative and operational support to the Contracts Coordinator as needed.Contribute to the development and implementation of improved contract management processes and procedures.If you are detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about ensuring compliance and efficiency in contract management, we encourage you to apply for the contracts officer position at selectability.

To be successful you must:
A certificate IV in business or in a related field (or have 2+ years' experience in a similar position).Experience in community development, social services, or a related field (highly desirable).Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups and individuals.Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite in particular Excel.Experience using computer program TRACCS (highly desirable).Understanding of contractual language.Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate confidently and professionally with all levels of staff.Exceptional time management skills and attention to detail.Most importantly… a positive attitude!Role RequirementsTravel to selectability sites and external locations may be required from time to time.Occasional out of hours work may be required from time to time.A Positive Notice Working with Children (blue card) (or the ability to obtain prior to commencing).A current yellow card exemption or NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or the ability to obtain prior to commencement).NDIS Worker Orientation Module "Quality, Safety & You" completion certificate.A current minimum P1 "C" class Queensland drivers licence.Current roadworthy vehicle with comprehensive insurance.About the offerThe contracts officer is a fulltime or part-time position based in Corporate Head Office Townsville.
