About the role Based in Brisbane, the Contracts Officers will provide essential support services to maintain contracts and supplier relationship information. This role is responsible for assisting in contract administration activities and maintaining data integrity in the contract management system to ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation of all contracts.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities Some of the key responsibilities of this role are:
Management of contract lifecycle activities, including data entry, document management, and record-keeping in the contract management system. Support the implementation and rollout of the contract management system, including user training and ongoing system maintenance. Maintain contract management related training materials, resources and documentation, ensuring accuracy, relevance and accessibility for staff. Provide systems based training to support staff to understand the contract management system and related contract management forms, templates and procedures. Ensure the accuracy and completeness of contract documentation, including contract terms, amendments, renewals, and related correspondence. Collaborate with the Contract Manager and other stakeholders to identify and rectify any discrepancies or errors in contract data and documentation. Support the Contract Manager in the resolution of contract disputes, discrepancies, and non-compliance issues by providing accurate and timely information. Participate in regular reviews of contracts to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and organisational requirements. Provide administrative support to the procurement team as needed, including assisting with vendor communications, correspondence, and documentation. About You As the ideal candidate, you will be experienced with contracts, with a background in procurement, commercial, compliance, legal or similar. You will pride yourself on your attention to detail and ability to work with a variety of different stakeholders both internal and externally to provide resolutions. You will have a solution-oriented and positive mindset with the ability to support the greater team with ongoing projects.
You will have: 3+ years' experience as a contract administrator or similar. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation. Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook. Familiarity with contract management software/tools is advantageous. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
