Job DescriptionAbout the Role: The Contracts Manager – Facilities Management will oversee the management and delivery of Eastern Guruma's Facilities Management contracts, including mine site commercial cleaning, grounds maintenance, pest control/weed spraying, environmental services and licencing. The role involves developing and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and adhering to both financial and safety standards. Additionally, this position supports Eastern Guruma strategic objectives by promoting Indigenous participation and engagement within each contract.
Desired Skills and ExperienceTertiary qualification in Business Administration, Facilities Management, Project Management or any related field (highly desirable)Must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in facilities management or a similar rolewithin environmental services, cleaning, grounds maintenance, or pest control sectors.Must have a FIFO (fly-in fly-out) experienceProven experience managing client relationships and supporting long-term contract retention.Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage staffing, and optimise workforce allocation.Demonstrated experience in budget management, cost-saving initiatives, and financial oversight to maintain profitability within service contracts.Experience in budget tracking, cost optimisation, and KPI based performance management.Experience conducting audits, managing risks, and ensuring full regulatory compliance.Experience working with Indigenous Engagement Programs, promoting Indigenous participation, and collaborating with Indigenous businesses (highly regarded)Training in Indigenous Cultural Awareness and Engagement (highly desirable)Strong reporting and organisational skills for monthly and ad-hoc reporting.Skilled in Microsoft Office and facilities management software.Familiar with fleet and equipment tracking systems.Knowledge of health and safety as well as training standards and compliance.Strong interpersonal and communication skills for client interactions and issue resolution.Ability to identify and address complex issues and challenges.Dedicated in maintaining high service standards.Actively seeks opportunities for improvement and championing initiatives.On Offer: Competitive salary package also negotiable for the right personNewly created role and a key role in our growing teamProfessional development opportunities, including trainingOpportunities to make a meaningful impact on the careers of Indigenous employees and the broader communityIndigenous and female candidates are highly encouraged to apply.
