Salary range $87,804 – 95,045 + Superannuation3.5% award increase from July 2024The Procurement & Contracts team facilitates Council's centralised procurement and assists Council's specialist officers to manage the resulting contracts effectively.

About the role: We are currently seeking a Contracts Governance Officer. This role is responsible for ensuring contracts are well-managed to realise value for money outcomes and contribute to the continuous improvement of Councils contract management capability.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following key skills and attributes: Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or job-related experience in a relevant fieldWorking knowledge of best practice contract management.Highly developed oral and written communication skills.Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills.Experience in the use of document management and financial management systems.Commitment to living our values of: Respect, Integrity, Teamwork, Trust and OptimismWhat we are offering: Permanent full-time, 35 hours per weekSalary range $87,804 – $95,045 + Superannuation3.5% award increase from July 2024Generous leave provisionsStaff car parkFor further information on this position, please contact Timothy Green, Contracts Governance Specialist on 4645 4857.
