Job Description Gold Coast Light Rail has transformed public transport on the Gold Coast, helping create an integrated network that connects more people to more places in one of Australia's most dynamic and fastest growing cities.
John Holland is GoldlinQ's nominated design and construction contractor for GCLR3, to extend the existing light rail network by 6.7kms from Broadbeach to Burleigh Heads, including eight new light rail stations, two new light rail-bus connections, and intersection upgrades along the alignment.
Jointly funded by the Australian and Queensland governments, and the City of Gold Coast, this city-shaping project will link communities to business centres, shopping, dining, education and medical facilities and cater to the Gold Coast's expected population growth in the coming decades.
As construction of GCLR3 gets under way, John Holland is actively recruiting for talented and driven Contracts Coordinators to join our team and play a key role in the successful delivery of this iconic Gold Coast project.
About the role: Reporting to the Upstream Commercial Manager, you'll be helping administer various contracts to enable reporting of our contracts in a timely manner. You'll also provide various administration assistance to the wider commercial team.
Responsibilities of the role include Provide support to the Upstream Commercial Team as necessary Provide assistance and prepare substantiation for contract claims including collating, analysing, summarising and reporting on data for contract claims Review relevant contracts to streamline reporting requirements Develop plans and strategies to enable the tracking of contract reporting requirements Review, monitor and manage head contract reporting requirements. Support commercial team in maintaining, updating and monitoring internal registers To be successful in this key role, you must have Tertiary Qualifications in Business, Commerce, Procurement, Contract Management or Administration A sound understanding of procurement and contracts administration Previous experience within Administration/Governance, practices and procedures within project delivery Experienced in Contracts Administration, Project Engineering or Procurement functions Excellent reporting skills As part of the team, you help us deliver on our promise to transform lives.
