About the Role
Broadmeadow is located in Queensland's Bowen Basin on the traditional lands of the Barada Barna people, 34 kilometres north of Moranbah.
It is a longwall underground coal operation.

We are currently seeking the expertise of a Contracts Coordinator on a 12-month fixed term basis.
You will be responsible for supporting the Contracts Advisors and Contract/Vendor Owners in the practical implementation of the Contractor Management Framework (CMF) for contractors engaged to perform work on site.
This role is working on site Monday to Friday with flexible working options available.

Key responsibilities include:
Support obligation holders in the execution of their duties as outlined in the Contractor Management Framework Actively review and provide governance over scope of works, risk assessments and SHMP documentation in conjunction with stakeholders Provide coaching and support to Contract Owners, Supervisors, Contracts Advisors and senior leadership team Coordinate issues, non-conformance, settlement & disputes with Supply & Contract Owners Participate in field verification of contract partner activities Proactively review and maintain commercial engagements and apply a continuous improvement lens to minimising off-contract spend Participate in contract renewal and variation processes where required Monitor and provide weekly reporting on Broadmeadow CMF compliance to relevant stakeholders Support in maintaining health of Contractor Management documents in the Broadmeadow SHMS Identify continuous improvement initiatives to drive process, cost and productivity improvements for Broadmeadow Mine Provide strategic advice on vendor rationalisation, sourcing, engagement and performance management of contract partners About You
Formal qualifications and/or equivalent experience in Contract Management, Human Resources or Organisational Development is advantageous Excellent communication skills and an ability to influence various stakeholders Working knowledge and skills in Microsoft Suite and SAP while experience with SuccessFactors would be highly regarded Experience with value-chain optimisation Ability to identify and project manage improvement opportunities and to build, promote and encourage a "step-up" culture within the department A strong desire to mentor and lead a team The ability to actively engage relevant stakeholders and enjoy collaboration and networking Proactive working style, great use of initiative and exceptional level of attention to detail About our Process
