Calliope Plumbing is privileged to be currently working alongside Tier 1 Construction Companies to construct several local projects including Queensland Education & Catholic Education school upgrades, The Teys Rockhampton upgrade and Rockhampton Mental Health Facility. We are also licensed gas experts able to install, maintain and repair the Natural & LPG networks within the Gladstone Region.

Responsibilities: Office Administration: Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Outlook in particular)Use of Xero for all Accounting Tasks (e.g., Invoicing, Purchase Orders, etc.)Use of Tradify for Scheduling/Timesheet TasksPartner with HR to update and maintain office policies as necessaryScheduling of staff and equipmentMonitoring tender requests and transfer of files to shared drive, review all updates and ensure they are transferred to the shared drive in a timely mannerMonitor emails and formulate responses in a timely mannerEngage with clients, suppliers and consultants as requestedSite meetings (both via Teams and face to face)Understanding scope of works from engineered plansProduction of bill of quantities for suppliersAssistance with accurate estimation of tendersFormulation of tender submission documentsReview successful contracts and liaise with management during procurement phaseSafety, Health, Environment and Quality: Compiling Health & Safety Documents for each portion of worksReview SWMS to make compliant and job/task specificReview Safety Data SheetsReview and Update Plant & Risk AssessmentsPreparation of bill of quantities from specification documentsOrdering of materials and coordination of delivery with site staffLiaise with Regional Council Bodies regarding applications, scheduling of inspections, certification documentsEstablish and maintain working relationships with clients, vendors and subcontractorsCompiling costs associated with RFI's and submission of supporting documents to clientFinancial support with the goal of meeting all key performance indicatorsOversee and manage Budget ManagementWhy Join Us?
