Workfast is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contracts Advisor for a fixed term contract of 12 months, to coordinate and manage all contract management framework activity, provide contract management advice, and contribute to enhance contract functions including but not limited to staff training on processes, continuous improvements to contracts and ensure alignment with legislative requirements.
Your responsibilities would include: Manage end-to-end contracting processes from tender development, submission, evaluation and award. Monitoring performance against key performance indicators and contract conditions, reporting, and delivering corrective action when necessary to ensure consistent customer service is received. Facilitate the implementation of cost savings within the supply chain and timely and successful execution of cost improvements within agreed parameters.
Maintain awareness of current and upcoming business activities. Work closely with internal customers to assist with planning and scoping requirements, source appropriate and competitive options. Ensure compliance related to contract regulations, legislation and site procedures. To be successful: Experience within metalliferous refining, mining or heavy industry.
(desirable) Self-motivated person with demonstrated professional knowledge of contract and relevant contract law. Confidence and capability to interpret contractual terms and conditions. Analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to prioritise competing workloads will ensure your success in delivering optimal solutions. Experience with JD Edwards or similar Contract Management System.
