About the role
Due to continued growth, we are currently looking for a driven and capable Contracts Administrator, to join our McNab Trades division based in Brisbane. This role will see you working across a variety of trade packages, across multiple projects. You will undertake effective administration of all areas of the project, including contracts, financials, productivity, safety, quality and programme performance for optimal commercial outcomes. This role would be well suited to Contracts Administrator's that have previous experience working for multiple subcontractors, or a smaller head contractor who are looking to progress their career.
We are seeking someone who can build relationships across the board and has previous experience in commercial construction.
Some daily duties will include:
Maintain proactive and positive relationships with clients, consultants and suppliers.
Preparation of subcontractor packages, scopes, lettings, procurement schedules.
Plan actions and complete all documentation in alignment with the Head Contract and raise any discrepancies early.
Take ownership and responsibility for all costs and budget outcomes. Have current knowledge of all aspects of the project's financial position at any point in time.
Assist in preparing all required reports for monthly project report meeting, proactively advise of any new risks, opportunities or changes, and participate in strategic discussion.
About you
You will have previous experience as a Contract Administrator delivering projects ideally from commencement to completion.
Previous exposure and understanding of multiple trades include: carpentry, painting, waterproofing, plastering to name a few.
You are able to maintain proactive and positive relationships with client, consultants and suppliers.
You are comfortable in preparation of subcontractor packages, scopes, lettings, procurement schedules.
You are able to plan actions and complete all documentation in alignment with the Head Contract and raise any discrepancies early.
You are able to take ownership and responsibility for all costs and budget outcomes. Have current knowledge of all aspects of the project's financial position at any point in time.
You have strong commercial awareness with the ability to drive outcomes, act decisively with an ability to problem solve.
