We're inspired by design, boutique in nature and love the hustle and grind of the construction industry.If you're looking for a flexible work life change and have this critical mindset too, then the Motive Family is the place for you.The Role:As a pivotal member of the Motive Building Group Family, the Contracts Administrator will report directly to the Directors and will support the business with contract activities during the project cycle.Primary activities include:Administration of contractual obligations and deliverables for assigned project contracts including; assessing, reviewing, and advising on contractor claims such as, EOTs, progress claims and notices.Provide collaborative input into additional scope of works including assessing associated costs and risk to each project.Preparation of minor tender documentation and subsequent requests for quotations on the construction works for each.Compilation and document control of pre and post contracts as required.Monitoring contractor compliance with contract terms and conditions for allocated construction works.Management of contract requirements and insurance provisions of contracts.Management of awarded contract activities including development and implementation of contract variations.Review, assess and liaise with the Construction Team on weekly progress, forecasted monthly progress, construction phases & forecasted progress claims.Arrange and facilitate regular business and project meetings with key stakeholders including internal employees, suppliers & sub-contractors.Closing out of contracts including securities, completion certificates and other contractual formal correspondences as required.About You:Motive are seeking a suitably qualified candidate with 3+ years, preferably within the residential/commercial construction industry.To be successful for the role, you will also possess the following criteria:Degree or diploma qualified in Business, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management or Cost Engineering desirable.Strong stakeholder management skills when liaising with all parties including suppliers, sub-contractors and clients.Knowledge of industry specific contracting practices in the residential/commercial construction sector.Previous experience in contracts administration, ideally within the residential/commercial construction industry.Understanding of contract law in the construction environment preferable.What We Offer You:Motive offer a range of benefits to our employees, including:Full Time Employment with flexible working arrangementsVery Competitive Salary Package + SuperannuationPermanent Work from Home every Friday (Yes….
