Contract Administrator
for the
pre-construction phase .
The ideal candidate will have strong relationship-building skills and prior experience in the commercial construction industry.As a well-established and award-winning builder and developer based in Brisbane, my client has a strong pipeline of projects with a long-term outlook.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Head of Construction, Construction Manager, and Cost Planner to ensure cost efficiency and compliance during the pre-con stage of each project's lifecycle.Role Responsibilities:Collaborate closely with the Commercial Manager and Cost Planner and manage all aspects of contract administration during the
pre-construction phase .Review, negotiate, and finalize agreements with subcontractors and suppliers.Lead the procurement process, including the preparation and issuance of subcontractor packages and detailed scopes of work.Develop and maintain project budgets, implementing effective cost control measures.Ensure full compliance with contractual obligations and company policies.Collaborate closely with project managers, design teams, and clients to align on project goals and timelines.Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues to minimize their impact on the project.Provide expert guidance on contractual matters throughout the duration of the project.Key Requirements:Minimum 3 years Experience as a Commercial Contract Administrator
with significant exposure to the pre-construction phase of projects.Proven experience working on multi-residential or commercial projects valued between $25-$80 million.Proficiency in all aspects of contract administration, with a track record of successful project delivery.Familiarity with Filebound & Procore software is advantageous but not essential.Tertiary qualification in construction management or a related field.Current driver's license and a construction white card.A passion for construction and a desire to contribute to team success.Comprehensive knowledge of contract administration processes, with a focus on implementing proven strategies and driving continuous improvement within the business.The Perks:Clear pathways for career advancement within the company.Industry-leading
