We are looking to appoint a talented Commercial Advisor to join our Transport & Infrastructure team. This is a part-time (2 days per week) opportunity to join a highly successful business dealing with a portfolio of long-term existing contracts as well as project-based work. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, this role will primarily be accountable for the successful delivery of commercial and contract administration services within the Downer T&I business.

This role would suit someone looking to work in their final year of their law degree, or someone wanting to take a step back from a full-time position and have an excellent work/life balance.

What you'll bring Degree in law, engineering, business, construction management, quantity surveying or other applicable relevant field - also willing to accept Undergraduates that may be in their final year of University.Understanding of contract terms and conditions, alongside a familiarity with the commercial and legal issues impacting business and the delivery of projects.Experience with post-contract award deliverables.Negotiation and influencing skills to achieve desired outcomes.Developed analytical and planning/prioritisation skills.Build and maintain effective relationships with both internal and external clients & stakeholders.Operate across the business through open communication and engagement.
