Contracts Administrator - Mid-Tier Commercial and Industrial ContractorExcellent opportunity for a Contracts Administrator to join a strong, national commercial and industrial building contractor.
In this position, you will be located out of their offices near Brisbane CBD but will join the project team located on a $25M D&C live environment shopping centre extension and refurb on the outskirts of Brisbane CBD.
The business has over 200 employees nationally and an approximate headcount of 50 permanent staff in Brisbane.
They possess an excellent reputation which has resulted in repeat business, significant growth in forecast, creating great opportunities within the thriving Brisbane offices.
They have strong systems in place in keeping with a tier 2 management contractor and have excellent safety procedures and a track record.
Key ResponsibilitiesReporting to the senior contracts administrator, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
Cost reporting and forecastingLetting of ContractsUse of Jobpac softwareScope of worksAssess progress claims and subcontract paymentsSub-Contract Contract VariationsPreparing and submitting variations to the clientMinimum RequirementsTo be suitable for this position, it is anticipated you will have the following:
Between 2-5 years experience as a Contracts Administrator working on high value commercial and industrial construction projectsExperience with D&C industrial, warehouse, distribution centers, bulky goods retail projects are deemed highly desirableWorked for mid-tier, established, systems-driven building contractorsA strong communicator, with good written and verbal skillsEnthusiastic with a passion for the industryOn OfferStrong salary of between $110,000 - $140,000 + Super package (D.O.E)Work for a business that has won multiple awards for the quality of work, with a national presenceGrowing in Brisbane with plenty of internal opportunities availableA company that promotes strong relations with its subcontractors and suppliers, leading to a positive working environmentExcellent staff retention and a huge pipeline of work in industrial, retail, and commercial construction projectsThis is a full-time opportunity, and the company is looking to recruit as soon as possible!
