Ground Support Systems Aust (GSS Hire) is an established and reputable Equipment Hire company with branches throughout Australia.

GSS Hire specialises in Dewatering and Trench Shoring solutions to the civil construction and mining industry.

Currently in expansion mode, an opportunity has become available for an experienced candidate to join our Maddington branch as a Contracts Administrator 
In this role, you will report directly to the General Manager and provide crucial contract administration support to the project team.
Your primary responsibility will be to ensure effective contract administration across a diverse range of projects throughout Australia.

Responsibilities include: Administer Contracts from the technical, commercial and contractual point of view from beginning to end based on Contractual requirement for projects up to $3 mil.
Advise and instruct the project team members on compliance with commercial requirements set out in the subcontracts, consultant and supply agreements, quality management systems, policies, guidelines, and project specific procedures.
Ensure Contractor and the Principal complies with their respective contractual obligations Facilitate the resolution of technical and commercial contract administration matters Provide contract administration advice and support in the preparation of tender documents, if required by Contract department Develop and maintain relationships with Internal team, Clients and Subcontractors to efficiently deliver projects Flexibility to attend worksites visits for progress meetings and site inspections Lead progress meetings with contractors and ensure that project's HSEQ procedures are communicated, understood and followed Requirements: You are a go-getter and do not shy away from a challenge.
Candidate must be efficient in time management with excellent organisational skills.

Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management/ Law or equivalent are preferred Relevant experience in a contracting construction environment  Experience with implementing procurement policies including the award of construction contract Demonstrated commercial acumen and the ability to interpret and apply contracts including payment claims Experience with large construction projects as well as local project exposure Excellent attention to detail Equipment hire experience is desirable but not essential Multi-tasking skills and ability to meet strict deadline Proficient in the full suite of Microsoft Office Must have clear written and verbal English Your application will include the following questions: Which of the following Microsoft Office products are you experienced with?
