Reporting to the Procurement and Contracts Manager undertaking the effective administration of allocated procurement and subcontracts through all phases of the project.Key accountabilities:Administration of the procurement process, scope preparation, selection of tenderers, tender negotiations, issuing of subcontracts and other agreements, claims/variations processing, contract completion and closeout including deeds of settlement and retention releases.Issue of tender documents through PROCUR-e and management of the tender cycle.Develop Vendor Letting Approval and associated Award Proposal and ensure reviewers and approvers are aligned with the Delegated Levels of Authority.Ensure contractual obligations under the subcontract are maintained and the subcontract is administered in accordance with the conditions and provisions of the agreement.Prepare, obtain approval, and transmit Payment Schedules that comply with Security of Payments Act requirements, with approvals obtained prior to issuing.Skills and Capabilities:Bachelor's degree in legal, Commerce, Engineering, Construction Management or Quantity Surveying highly desirable but not essential.3+ years experience in a similar role ideally in the Rail/Civil Infrastructure environment but not essential.High level of demonstrated stakeholder engagement.Current Driver's License and your own reliable vehicle.
