Pacific Marine Group (PMG), a leader in the maritime sector across Northern Australia and the Pacific Rim, is seeking a Contracts Administrator to join our dynamic team.
This full-time, permanent position is based in Townsville, with a requirement for travel and on-site presence at various project locations across the Pacific region.
As a Contracts Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of our construction projects, ensuring that all contracts are well-managed and compliant throughout the project lifecycle.
About You You will bring a strong background in contract administration within the construction industry.
You'll have a hands-on approach and be able to manage multiple projects with a focus on legal, financial, and contractual responsibilities.
You will be adept at coordinating with stakeholders and ensuring all contract obligations are met while maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Key skills and experience include: Significant experience in contract administration within the construction industry (experience in heavy industry, marine, or coastal projects will be highly regarded).Strong understanding of contract terms, conditions, and obligations.Experience in supporting the administration of contracts from pre-award phase to completion.Excellent organizational and time-management skills with a keen eye for detail.Ability to manage project documentation, variations, claims, and reporting.Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of project outcomes.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.Tertiary qualifications in Construction, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Working knowledge of CAD and other software programs will be an advantage.What's in it for You?
