About the OpportunityWe are currently seeking to appoint commercial professionals (Contract Administrators and Senior Contract Administrators) to join our team. We are also interested in speaking to construction lawyers who are looking to transition to commercial roles whilst still utilising their legal skills. Reporting to the Commercial Director, the roles are accountable for:
Project delivery support, including preparing key contractual notices, claims, and variations within designated timeframes.Assessing commercial and contractual risks involved in delivery, identifying and implementing controls.Management of project commercial registers including extensions of time, risk and opportunity, and variations.Attendance at weekly project meetings and site visits as required.Reviewing, advising on, and assisting with negotiation of contracts for suppliers, subcontractors, and consultants.Supporting management of project claims and disputes.About YouDegree in Law, Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or equivalent.4+ years of experience in contract management required with Head Contractor in the construction and engineering industry.Strong commercial acumen and awareness in areas of cost management and contract law.Ability to quickly analyse contract/commercial issues and provide concise accurate advice to project management.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
