Contracts Administrator

Details of the offer

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Administrator to join their commercial team. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, this role offers the opportunity to work alongside industry experts, contribute to exciting projects, and grow professionally as the company expands its portfolio.This position involves overseeing procurement, subcontractor management, and cost control across multiple residential project sites. The ideal candidate is proactive, eager to take on responsibility, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the Construction Manager to set up head contracts and develop detailed construction cost budgets.Review construction documents, interpret plans, and prepare comprehensive Scopes of Work for trade contractors.Manage tendering and contract letting processes using Procore.Administer contracts, including processing claims, variations, extensions of time (EOT), and final accounts.Perform quantity take-offs using tools such as Buildsoft Cubit for budgeting and procurement purposes.Prepare periodic cost control reports, including CTD (Cost to Date), CTC (Cost to Complete), and procurement status updates.Monitor subcontractor performance and manage documentation throughout the project lifecycle.Ensure timely payment processing as per the Security of Payment Act (SOP) and issue payment schedules.Maintain organised and compliant project records and documentation.Key Skills and ExperienceA minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role, ideally within residential development or construction.Proficiency in construction software such as Procore, Buildsoft Cubit, or Jobpac, as well as MS Office programs.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional and ethical approach.Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and analytical thinking.Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines consistently.A proactive and "can-do" attitude with a team-oriented mindset.Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing demands across projects.For more information, please text or call Don @ W Talent on 0485 976 584, or for immediate consideration, please apply now or email your CV to (email protected)Please note, due to a high volume of applications, only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.
