Summary: We are seeking a Contracts Administrator for a family owned civil engineering company based in Chippendale, Sydney. This is a new, 12 month contract role, with the potential to be ongoing.
Responsibilities: You will be assigned multiple contracts, for which you will:
Maintain accurate and up to date client, contact, project and contract files using our databaseManage compliance with contract requirementsCommunicate requirements, changes and identified issues to Project Managers, accounts and engineersWork with engineers to maintain accurate and up to date project deliverable filesPrepare timely payment claim documentation and work with accounts to ensure timely and accurate invoicingWork across multiple client portalsAssist in the resolution of contract disputesYou Must Have: Bachelor's degree - applicants with no degree will be considered if they can demonstrate equivalent competence2-5+ years of experience in contract management or a related fieldConfidence to pick up the phone - write a clear email - go to someone's desk and talk face to faceAbility to juggle many projects simultaneouslyAttention to detailSense of responsibility in your workThe confidence, judgment and communication skills to politely hound the right people for the right information, quicklyAbility and commitment to work within our ISO9001 systemFamiliarity with Atlassian and Microsoft Office suiteIt Would Be Desirable If You Had: Experience in civil engineering or construction workplaceStrong understanding of legal terminology and contract lawDemonstrated understanding of concepts of document control, client relationship management and quality assuranceAbility to review contract documentation and provide recommendations regarding suitabilityAbility to provide guidance and support to engineers and accounts on contract-related mattersIs this you?
