ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a Contracts Administrator

to join our growing Legal & Commercial team based in our office in Macquarie Park, Sydney.
The primary purpose of the Contracts Administrator role is to provide commercial and contractual support across a growing portfolio of complex and diverse projects for our remediation and water businesses in the NSW/ACT region.
Key responsibilities will include:

Providing commercial support to projects in the region including day-to-day and onsite contract administration support; Reviewing key risks and contractual terms during tender and delivery phase; Managing subcontracts and suppliers; Negotiating variations and program or delivery issues which arise with clients; Ensuring project compliance with SOPA procedures and other legislative requirements and all relevant company policies and procedures; Preparing and submitting contractual notices, claims and correspondence for EOTs, NODs, variations and other contractual matters.

ABOUT YOU

The successful candidate will be ambitious, hands-on, organised and looking to be challenged and step into a growing and successful team.
To be successful in this position, you will have:

Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Law, Construction Management and/or diploma in Contract Management Administration or Fundamentals or equivalent.
3+ years experience in contract administration within a construction/projects environment.
Strong planning and organisational skills.
A professional demeanour and strong relationship-building skills.
