As part of their Construction Team, you will work on visionary projects, transforming brownfield sites into a range of facilities including aquatic centres, museums, pubs, and data centres. In their Fitout and Refurbishment Team, they create custom-fit spectacular spaces, delivering best-in-class projects that include asset refurbishments for government agencies, leading hospital facilities, prestigious universities, and global tech headquarters.
About the Role:
FDC are looking for their next Contract Administrator to be part of something extraordinary. As a Contracts Administrator, you will play a crucial role in the management and administration of contracts for the fitout and construction projects. You will work closely with Project Managers, Construction Managers, Site Managers, and various stakeholders to ensure that FDC meets its contractual obligations while delivering high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing and submitting planning permits and relevant documents for construction projects.
Collaborate with the Project Manager to develop designs, coordinate with consultants, and produce meeting documentation.
Monitor financial aspects of contracts to ensure projects remain within budget, including issuing purchase orders and approving contractor invoices.
Prepare cash flow forecasts and draft progress reports for clients.
Participate in design meetings and maintain effective communication with all stakeholders.
Promote safety and compliance with HSEQ guidelines on-site.
About You:
As the Contract Administrator, you will apply your established knowledge in Contracts Administration and a degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering. Utilising your excellent verbal and written communication skills, you will build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships, while engaging in the team as a proactive and agile team player with an adaptable attitude and eagerness to grow.
Skills and Experience:
Proven experience in Contracts Administration.
Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering (or similar).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with project management software like Vista or MS Project.
Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
