South Australia Police Job reference: 619222 Location: 5000 - ADELAIDE Job status: Short Term Contract Eligibility: Open to Everyone Full-time vacancy up to 27/06/2025 The Information Systems and Technology (IS&T) Service supports the frontline policing and corporate operations of SAPOL through the provision of ICT infrastructure and communication platforms, operational software applications, and support services.
The Service is responsible for driving the ongoing evolution of ICT capability across SAPOL, through the delivery of high-quality ICT change programs.
The Service is structured across four core pillars: Strategy, Innovation and Engagement; Program Delivery; Operational Services; and Security.
The Service extends from traditional ICT services to encompass a specialist radio and technology capability, including laser and radar calibration services.
The Quality and Assurance Branch provides a wide range of services to IS&T to enable the Service to provide quality reliable systems to SAPOL.
This includes managing the lower environments and providing effective change control to protect the production environment.
The Branch will also manage IS&T contracts and relationships along with managing our equipment and IT assets.
The Branch provides a testing service to the rest of the Service, assuring quality and usability of new or enhanced systems and services.
ROLE The Contracts Administrator is accountable for supporting the effective administration and at times management of IT contracts and operating as a member of a specialist team who has the ability to work autonomously to provide IS&T contract support to achieve IS&T objectives.
You will be working to support the administration of IS&T contracts throughout their lifecycle.
Administer and maintain service level agreements for all contracts and monitor vendor performance against SLAs.
Success in this position will be achieved by your attention to detail, high level of analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to think laterally and conceptually.
The successful applicant will have substantial knowledge in contract establishment, administration and governance.
You will be an expert in understanding contract related policies and procedures to ensure you are providing consistent and reliable advice to executives, business managers and staff.
Ideally you will have experience working on large and complex ICT asset portfolios, however, if you have extensive experience in contract administration across other sectors your skills and passion are the credentials we are seeking.
SUCCESS Experience in the coordination of ICT contract administration services within a complex organisation.Excellent ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels, verbally, in writing and by means of presentations, including the ability to produce reports of a high quality.Demonstrated ability to organise workloads effectively in a climate of competing priorities to achieve agreed outcomes and to also work under broad direction and/or in a team environment on complex tasks.Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation and regulations relating to procurement and ICT government contracts.Ability to identify and resolve administrative/contract issues in a timely and appropriate manner.Special Conditions The incumbent must hold a current Australian work eligibility status and will be subject to a criminal history check.The incumbent may be assigned to other duties at this remuneration level or equivalent.Some out of hours work and intra/interstate travel may be required.The incumbent is required to participate in SAPOL's iEngage program.Salary ASO5 - $85,790 - $95,413 per annum.
