We are looking for an experienced Contracts Administrator to join our Corporate Team in Perth.
27th June, 2024 Southern Cross Electrical Engineering (SCEE) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contracts Administrator to manage all commercial aspects of our contracts. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with SCEE's policies and procedures while managing contract documentation, stakeholder coordination, compliance, risk management, financial oversight, and dispute resolution.
Key Responsibilities: Administer and manage all project contracts. Prepare, review, and maintain contractual documentation. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure contractual obligations are met. Ensure all contracts comply with legal requirements, company policies, and industry standards. Identify and mitigate risks associated with contract execution and administration. Monitor and report on the financial aspects of contracts, including budgeting, invoicing, and payments. Address and resolve any contractual disputes or issues. Provide regular updates and reports on contract status, issues, and performance. Manage project variations and progress claims efficiently. Assist in claims strategies and reviews, including EOT/delay claims. Ensure the rights and obligations of the contract are adhered to by the project team. Provide assistance and opinions in project control management, such as cost control and some accounting function experience. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in business administration, Law, Construction Management, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in contract administration, preferably in the energy or construction industry. Strong understanding of contract law, construction contracts (e.g., FIDIC, NEC), and industry practices. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Benefits: Competitive salary package. Prime Perth CBD location.
