Seeking a passionate contracts administrator to join one of Melbourne's leading head-contractors.

Role Description:
As a Contract Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of projects. Your responsibilities will include:
Contract Negotiation: Negotiating and drafting contracts.
Contract Management: Overseeing contract performance, monitoring compliance, and addressing issues.
Procurement: Managing the procurement process, including sourcing suppliers, evaluating bids, and awarding contracts.
Analytical Skills: Utilizing data analysis to inform decision-making.
Communication: Effectively communicating with stakeholders.
Letting and Vetting: Managing the process of letting and vetting subcontractors for projects.
Forecasting: Developing and managing project forecasts, including cost, schedule, and resource forecasts.
Client Variations: Managing client-initiated variations to the project scope and their impact on the contract.
Issuing Subcontractor POs: Issuing purchase orders to subcontractors based on approved scope of work.
Processing Subcontractor Invoices: Processing and paying subcontractor invoices in accordance with contract terms.
Subcontractor Variations: Managing variations issued by subcontractors and their impact on the project.
Cash Flow Forecast: Developing and managing cash flow forecasts to ensure adequate funding for the project.
Progress Claims: Preparing and submitting progress claims to the client for payment.
Head Contract Review: Reviewing and managing the head contract to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in contract administration within the construction or related industry.
Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
In-depth knowledge of procurement processes and best practices.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to work on-site in Melbourne, VIC.
A track record of successful project delivery in fit-out projects in Melbourne.
