About the role: We have a recent opportunity arise for a Contract Administrator to join our close-knit Melbourne team. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and eager to grow and develop within our reputable company.

As a Contract Administrator, you will take ownership of the client's day-to-day commercial and contractual needs including tendering, procurement, preparing and negotiating variations, drafting contractual correspondence, and assisting in development of claims. You will get the opportunity to work on both upstream and downstream activities through tendering, delivery, contract close and commercial settlement. 
In this role, you will be responsible for: Preparing, collating and evaluating tender documentation.Preparation of subcontractor packages, scopes, lettings, procurement schedules.Progress claim assistance and external variations.Review, negotiation, and finalisation of subcontracts.Management and tracking of project expenditure, inclusive of subcontractor claim.In conjunction with the Contracts Manager assist in the timely and accurate submission of Monthly Project Report.Ensure all commercial administration activities on the Project are in accordance with Renascent policies and procedures.In all activities, working towards creating a climate of mutual trust.Communicating regularly with project stakeholders (verbally and written) as required by the Project Manager.Promoting a friendly and professional working relationship with project stakeholders.The ideal candidate will have: Tertiary qualification in related discipline, coupled with significant fit-out and refurbishment delivery experience.2-3 years' experience as a Contracts Administrator. Proven ability to assess commercial and contractual risks, identify and implement appropriate controls and escalate where necessary.Must have experience in the procurement and management of major subcontract packages for large scale projects.Demonstrate strong leadership skills, work collaboratively and drive customer-focused outcomes.Clear and articulate communication skills coupled with an ability to manage stakeholders, both internally and externally.Demonstrated experience delivering commercial projects across Victoria.Knowledge of Victorian construction market and subcontractors.Strong attention to detail and proven communication skills.Experience using Job Pac and Procore will be highly regarded.What We Can Offer: Fantastic inclusive cultureCareer progression opportunitiesExciting landmark projectsMarket leading salary packageFlexible Working ArrangementsHow to apply: Please submit your resume and cover letter .
