Projex Building is a well-established local construction company specialising in the delivery of high-quality building services to both private and government clients across the ACT, including commercial construction, residential multi-units, refurbishments, fitouts and more.

We are seeking a Contracts Administrator to join our commercial team.
The successful applicant shall have a relevant qualification in the construction industry and will have postgraduate experience in contracts administration, tendering, and project delivery.
The duties of this role may include but are not limited to:
Supporting Project Managers to successfully deliver projectsPreparing documentation such as subcontracts, supply agreements, and variationsSubcontractor engagement and negotiationMaterial procurementReviewing & processing monthly subcontractor payments and invoicingTracking program progress and deadlines using MS Project and preparing reportsEnsuring compliance with all contractual requirementsAssisting in tender submissionsAssisting in safety system implementationThe ideal applicant will have:
Graduate or postgraduate experience in a relevant discipline, such as contracts administration, tendering, and project delivery.Proven track record in a similar role delivering commercial or residential construction projects (please specify)A high standard of written and verbal communicationExcellent attention to detailAbility to prioritise and work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environmentRelevant computer skills including MS Project and MS Office SuiteUnderstanding of Building Codes/Australian Standards/Construction & Contract LawAll applications will be treated in confidence.
