Projex Building is a well-established local construction company specialising in the delivery of high-quality building services to both private and government clients across the ACT, including commercial construction, residential multi-units, refurbishments, fitouts and more. We are seeking a Contracts Administrator to join our commercial team. The successful applicant shall have relevant qualification in the construction industry and will have post graduate experience in contracts administration, tendering and project delivery.
The duties of this role may include but are not limited to:
Supporting Project Managers to successfully deliver projects Preparing documentation such as subcontracts, supply agreements and variations Subcontractor engagement and negotiation Material procurement Reviewing & processing monthly subcontractor payments and invoicing Tracking program progress and deadlines using MS Project and preparing reports Ensuring compliance with all contractual requirements Assisting in tender submissions Assisting in safety system implementation The ideal applicant will have:
Graduate or Post-graduate experience in a relevant discipline, such as contracts administration, tendering and project delivery. Proven track record in a similar role delivering commercial or residential construction projects (please specify) A high standard of written and verbal communication Excellent attention to detail Ability to prioritise and work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment Relevant computer skills including MS Project and MS Office Suite Understanding of Building Codes/Australian Standards/Construction & Contract Law All applications will be treated in confidence.
