Job Description - Contracts Administrator (261530) UGL is currently seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to join our team on a 2/2 roster to support a Brownfield Construction Project in Darwin, Northern Territory.
This role is set to commence in October 2024 and will have an estimated duration of approximately 6-7 months.
As the Contracts Administrator , you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful financial and contractual delivery of the project.
You will be responsible for reviewing, negotiating, and managing contracts, ensuring strict compliance and effective communication across all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities: Draft and review contractual correspondence for management approval.
Prepare tender packages and contractual documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Lead negotiations on terms and conditions with suppliers and subcontractors.
Develop and implement robust systems and procedures to drive financial, commercial, and contractual performance.
Collaborate with internal teams, client representatives, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless communication and strong professional relationships.
Qualifications & Experience: Tertiary qualification in Business, Law, or related field (or equivalent industry experience).
Proven experience in contracts administration within the construction or engineering sectors, preferably in brownfield projects.
Strong understanding of contract law , procurement processes, and commercial principles.
Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, with a focus on stakeholder management.
Ability to work both in the office and on-site, ensuring effective contract performance in varied environments.
