We're changing the way Australia generates its energy, are you ready for a change? 
The Project  UGL and CPB Contractors have been awarded the early works contract to support Powerlink's delivery of CopperString 2032. This $5 billion iconic project will initially be approximately 840 kilometres of new transmission line running from just south of Townsville to Mount Isa that will connect Queensland's North West Minerals Province to the national electricity grid. The project scope includes:
· 500 kilovolt (kV) transmission line from just south of Townsville to Hughenden
· 330kV transmission line from Hughenden to Cloncurry
· 220kV transmission line from Cloncurry to Mount Isa, up to six new substation sites.
This exciting project will commence construction in 2024 and we are currently looking for an experienced Contracts Administrator to join the team based in Brisbane.
What will a day in this role look like: · Ensure compliance with all Project HSSE policies, procedures and relevant legislative requirements
· Ensure compliance with Project Procurement, Contract and Commercial policies for delivery of procurement services and outcomes
· Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures pertaining to commercial obligation, risk management and protection of all intellectual property.
· Support and maintain procurement registers and systems
· Provide assistance and guidance to UGL staff, including project managers, project engineers and contracts administrators on commercial and contract administration matters. 
· Put in place plans and procedures at a project level that address commercial issues and ensure contract compliance with time bars, submissions, notices and the like 
· Assist in the resolution of disputes etc., in conjunction with the Commercial Manager and where applicable, Legal personnel. 
· Assist in preparing subcontract terms and conditions for Project Managers, in accordance with UGL contractual strategies.

What are we looking for you to bring to the team: · Degree or Diploma in, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or equivalent
· Minimum 3 years' experience in a Contracts Administration management or similar position.
· Experience various contract remuneration models (lump sum, schedule of rates, cost reimbursable)
· Strong communication skills (oral & written) including strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels
