Contracts Administrator required for an immediate permanent opportunity. The successful Contracts Administrator will be the first appointment within a new project delivery team being set up due to continued organic growth in this large, national commercial builder. The company has a very strong pipeline of work and is looking to expand its commercial teams.

THE PERSON:
Tertiary Qualification / Trade in a construction related discipline
Must be a confident relationship builder as the bulk of work is repeat client
Minimum 3 years as a Contracts Administrator with a reputable larger organisation ideally in the commercial refurb space
Confident working on a wide range of projects as the portfolio is diverse
Must have local Australian experience and a knowledge of local sub contractors
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Scopes of work, procurement, negotiating and recommendations
Complete ownership of all projects under your control from a Cost Perspective
Formulate and lodge Client progress payment claims
Price variations and process variations orders
Leading and mentoring of more junior staff
Attend and participate in review meetings
Costing, budgets and financial reporting
Salary will be dependent on the level of experience but as a guide will be in the $100K - $140K mark with excellent benefits and perks that I can go on application.
