Travers bushfire & ecology are expanding and we have the need for qualified graduates and experienced workers for infrastructure-based projects.
We are currently looking to fill a variety of casual short contract roles for Infrastructure projects throughout NSW but mostly within the Hunter and Central Coast regions.
Roles include: Arboriculture Assessors Fauna Spotters / Catchers Aboriginal Heritage Assessors About the roles Undertake inspections, site assessments and report findings.
Work away from home as well as with a tight knit project team (living away from home allowance provided when required to travel and stay overnight).
Short and long-term projects available.
These roles would be ideal for someone seeking to gain experience and to work on major projects, commencing in March to June 2022 potentially leading to other contract works.
This is a great opportunity for you to show your abilities for our clients and to gain further work in the above disciplines.
Essential criteria Relevant tertiary qualifications, or soon to graduate with relevant tertiary qualifications.
A high level of attention to detail.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Willingness and ability to acquire new skills.
A demonstrated interest in arboriculture, archaeology, ecology, bushfire and / or environmental science.
Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills, as you will liaise with team members from different disciplines, clients, and government agencies to ensure delivery of innovative solutions that meet client and broader community expectations.
Be flexible in geographic locations of work as some travel and staying away from home may be required at more remote locations.
Highly organised to plan and manage projects.
Provide your own transport to sites.
Flexible to work on shift work and normal day works subject to project needs.
