This position requires strong technical expertise in SMSF accounting and tax legislation.Key ResponsibilitiesManage a portfolio of complex SMSFs specializing in real estate property investments.Perform all aspects of the SMSF lifecycle, including fund establishment, ongoing administration, annual audit preparation, and taxation.Prepare and lodge annual financial statements, tax returns, and other required compliance documents.Analyze financial data and provide clients with clear and concise reports on their SMSF performance.Liaise with clients, investment advisors, and other stakeholders to address inquiries, explain complex financial concepts, and gather necessary information.Stay up-to-date with the latest legislative and regulatory changes affecting SMSFs, particularly those related to real estate investments.Proactively identify and address potential compliance risks and opportunities for clients.Contribute to the development and implementation of efficient processes and procedures for SMSF administration.Maintain strong relationships with clients and build trust through excellent communication and service.QualificationsCPA qualification or equivalent accounting qualification.Minimum 5 years of experience working with SMSFs, with a specialization in real estate property investments.Strong understanding of Australian tax laws and regulations relating to SMSFs and real estate.Proven track record of delivering high-quality work with accuracy and attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and explain complex financial concepts in a clear and concise manner.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in accounting software and SMSF administration software.Technical requirementsWindows 10 and above operating system or MacOS 13+256GB Storage space - minimum8GB RAM - minimumDual Core CPU - minimumCamera: HD Webcam (720p)Headset: Noise canceling (preferably)Internet Speed: 50 Mbps - minimumAbout us:My SMSF is a Sydney-based accounting firm specializing in Self-Managed Superannuation Funds (SMSFs).
