This role will be a key player in coordinating and monitoring the construction, installation, maintenance, and commissioning works undertaken on Snowy Hydro sites by contractor work teams. Your expertise in this space ensures the safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness of work practices by applying effective risk management strategies, including planning, Right to Start protocols, and continuous monitoring. You'll be key in planning and executing outages, maintaining rigorous safety standards, and driving continuous improvement.In addition to the above, this role will include:Liaising with the Planning & Assurance Manager and Contracts Manager to understand contractor scopes of work and contract terms.Contributing to the development of safe systems of work, risk assessments, and management plans in collaboration with the project team.Leading coordination discussions with team leaders to ensure progress against plans and addressing scope variations.Ensuring all site documents are registered within the document management system, and supporting defect close-out schedules.Supervising inspections, tests, and verifications as outlined in the inspection and test plans.To be successful in this role, you will have:A technical background with a trade certificate or engineering diploma and experience in construction work management.Proven experience in site supervision and management, with strong leadership, organisational, and contract management skills.A deep understanding of workplace health and safety requirements, environmental controls, and risk management practices.The ability to read and interpret work scopes, technical specifications, and project drawings, and apply this knowledge to ensure safe and efficient work methods.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project demands.Strong communication skills, with a focus on team collaboration and empowering others to meet project objectives.A demonstrated commitment to personal accountability and continuous professional development.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing team at Snowy Hydro, supporting the delivery of critical infrastructure projects.
