Period of AppointmentAppointment to the role is on a permanent flexible basis (up to 73.5 hours per fortnight)
DutiesUndertake administrative tasks associated with the engagement of suppliers, contract administration, performance monitoring, and reporting of contracts.Provide advice and support to project managers in relation to their management of procurement issues and facilitate the planning and drafting of procurement documentation.Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, using judgement and initiative to respond to routine and ad-hoc matters that arise, and initiate follow up action as required.Undertake accurate and timely recording of data within the Departmental Contract Management System and other data reporting tools, including data monitoring and verification.Provide support to the Departmental Procurement Committee including Secretarial support, coordination of documents, preparation of agendas, minutes and communications.Coordination of audit reporting including research and preparation of documents and collaboration with relevant departmental officers.Undertake research and analysis and make recommendations regarding potential business improvement initiatives.Undertake quality checks and suggested improvements on documents including procedures, briefs, reports and other operational documents to the Manager, Procurement and Contract Services Branch Manager and other senior and leadership staff.Download the Statement of Duties and Associated DocumentsTo apply, please provide a one to two page document outlining your experience, skills and knowledge as they relate to the Statement of Duties, and a copy of your current Resumé/CV.
