Job DescriptionWe would like to present you with an opportunity for a Contract Supervisor to join our team in Deeside on a full time permanent basis!Salary: £30,000 per annum.Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm.
As a Contract Supervisor you will be responsible for supporting the Depot Manager in the day-to-day running of the warehouse, ensuring that all service and cost targets are met or exceeded, that all Health & Safety requirements are met and that the highest standards of housekeeping are maintained.
Job responsibilities of a Contract Supervisor include: Scheduling and supervising the activities and the functions of the warehouse staff.Ensuring the proper and timely completion of all warehouse activities.To ensure 100% customer satisfaction.To ensure compliance with the Company's Health & Safety policy and procedures through safe systems of work and practices.Keeping and maintaining records of team performance against plans and to advise the Depot Manager of factors that may disrupt operations which cannot be resolved by the team.To assist in the organisation of training and development for warehouse staff, including on-the-job coaching.To offer regular feedback, formal and informal, on team and individual performance, including behavioural issues and highlighting good performance and areas for further development.To participate as an active member of the management team, and to offer suggestions for solving problems, improving efficiency, customer and quality focus and team working.QualificationsPrevious experience of operating in various positions within a warehouse, including operating MHE and managing people.High level of attention to detail.Strong team player as well as able to work on their own initiative.In depth knowledge of operating warehouse systems.Good knowledge of health and safety.Successful experience of achieving challenging deadlines and KPIs.PC Literate to a minimum of intermediate level in MS Office.Good communication skills.
