Contract Specialist (Procurement/Logistics/Supply Chain)

As a Contract Specialist, you will be responsible for efficiently administering high-value contracts (up to $70m annually) and managing multiple high-volume projects (50-100 active projects).
Your role will involve providing expert advice, resolving non-conformances, and ensuring all contractual obligations are met while maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities: Setup and manage cost tracking structures for contracts, projects, and work orders.
Review monthly payment claims, submit accruals, and provide detailed documentation.
Advise on contract management, including variations and implementation.
Support governance forums with program managers and senior stakeholders.
Prepare and issue authorised services/works under managed contracts.
Foster strong relationships with internal teams to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Skills & Experience: Tertiary qualifications in administration, financial management, construction management, engineering, accounting, or quality surveying.
3-6 years of experience in contract management and performance analysis, especially within infrastructure design and delivery projects.
Proven experience in managing major contracts, assessing claims, and understanding asset-based work breakdown structures.
Commercial acumen and familiarity with collaborative contract models such as Total Cost Estimate (TCE) or Early Contractor Involvement (ECI).
Strong skills in Excel and digital systems for contract and vendor management.
