Contract Administrator / Contract Specialist - Owners Team
This large and well-respected organisation has several construction projects about to be awarded.
They have a new and exciting role for a Contract Specialist / Contract Administrator to join them as soon as possible.
Responsibilities: Preparing and submission of progress claims and ensuring their timely payment
Agreeing rates and final accounts
Complete site surveillance reports and diaries and review contractor's progress reports
Subcontract management including receipt and processing of subcontract interim payment claims & final accounts
Processing claims for variations and additional entitlement
Prepare, submit & agree contractual claims
Manage and participate where necessary in the preparation, submission & agreement of variations
Provide advice to the Project Management team and Perth-based Commercial Team on contractual issues
Preparing, reviewing, and submitting reports to prescribed timescales
Constant reviewing of change management.
Requirements: Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management or Quantity Surveying
Experience in performing Contract Administration duties in a site-based role, including chairing meetings, assessing progress achieved vs cost measurement and payment certificates and accruals calculations.
Based in Perth CBD with work from home, the hourly rate is in the region of $70 - $75ph + super.
