We have safely and sustainably developed CSG since 2000 and supplied it commercially since 2004 – for both industrial use and power generation in Queensland, and for power generation in the east coast gas market.

Today, Arrow owns and operates Braemar 2, a 450-megawatt gas-fired power station south-west of Dalby and is developing the Surat Gas Project in western Queensland. Sanctioned in 2020, the Surat Gas Project's first phase comprises more than 600 coal seam gas wells and will bring 5 trillion cubic feet of gas to market over 27 years.

To meet our growing demands, we are looking for a Contract Specialist to join our team.
The Role: Reporting to the Operational & Projects Contracts Manager, the purpose of this role is to develop, procure and execute high-value, complex and strategic contracts and provide post-award contract management, administration, and procurement, across a span of contracts encompassing services and materials to protect and optimize value for Arrow whilst minimizing risk.
This is a Brisbane based position and will require occasional travel to our field operations as required, with plenty of notice.
In addition, you will: Demonstrate a personal commitment to consistently role model Arrow's values, code of conduct, safety, and the environment.Establish positive and productive working relationships with key stakeholders.Model inclusive behaviours to create a safe environment where different views and perspectives are encouraged and valued.Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to execute whole of life contract management activities in accordance with Arrow's CMCP and governance requirements.Protect value and mitigate risk by identifying appropriate contracting strategies, market approach and contracting terms and conditions, and managing and mitigating claims.Hold negotiations with contractors to achieve advantageous outcomes for Arrow Energy, including commercial negotiations and claim resolution.Promote a culture of strategic cost management and cost leadership through identification and implementation of savings opportunities.Provide input and support to contract performance management activities together with advice to the CPL team and Contract Owners/Holders on ways to optimise post-award outcomes that protect value.About You You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to contribute to a high performing team with a second-to-none focus on safety and integrity.
To be considered for this role, you will ideally have: Extensive experience in Contract Management Systems, claims management and mitigation.Working knowledge of Contract Terms & Conditions, including allocation of risks between the parties.Experience with contemporary procurement practices within a global organisation incorporating knowledge of capital project requirements, driving CP opportunities, executing and improving CP processes and systems.Exposure to Commercial Models, such as Lump Sum, Unit Rate, Schedule of Rates, Target Price.Skilled at supplier management, formulating innovation strategies, executing opportunities and achieving commercial outcomes through effective negotiation.Demonstrated knowledge of suppliers, supply chains, market analysis, and cost models within the Oil and Gas Industry.If you're excited about this role however don't meet all the criteria, we would still love to hear from you anyway.
