About The Role
Contract Resources is seeking a Turnaround HSE Lead for a major upcoming Turnaround in Geelong. Under the guidance and direction of the Client HSE Lead, the primary purpose of the role is to support the project planning, execution, and close out safely and successfully.
Duties will include but are not limited to: Support the client HSE Lead to develop and implement key HSE processes in preparation for the Turnaround. Provide HSE leadership and support to the Contract Resources HSE Team (4 HSE Advisors) during the Turnaround. Manage the development and implementation of CR JSEA's risk assessments for work activities. Conduct incident investigations in line with CR's Incident Management Procedure investigation policy and support Client lead investigations where required. Actively support the Client, Site Coordinators, and Supervisors with all HSE matters. Participate in the development and roll out of Site Inductions, Toolbox Talks, and other Safety Initiatives. Attend and participate in communication forums. Ensure CR participation in set KPI's for the Turnaround including but not limited to Audits, Inspections, Safety Conversations, and Hazard reporting. Assist the operational team in complying with the HSE Management System. Requirements & Experience Needed: OHS/WHS Qualification and Investigation Training. Advanced understanding and knowledge of Australian OHS/WHS legislation. Advanced experience in injury management processes. Experience leading an HSE Team. Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook (intermediate). 6+ years in a similar role e.g., Senior HSE Advisor or HSE Consultant. A background in oil & gas, petro-chemical, or similar industry with transferrable skills. Construction Card. Driver's License. Able to complete and pass a full medical and drug & alcohol test.
