About The Role
Contract Resources is seeking a HSE Advisor for a major upcoming Turnaround in Geelong.
Reporting to the Turnaround HSE Lead, the successful candidate will provide assistance in coordinating the management of the Corporate HSE Management System for site-based maintenance and turnaround activities, ensuring compliance with the system, HSE legislation and the operational HSE requirements of the Client.

Role Accountabilities Include
Provide HSE advice and expertise to the CR Team during the Turnaround.
Participate in the roll out of Site Inductions, Toolbox Talks and other Safety Initiatives.
Support the CR Team to achieve set KPI's for the Turnaround including Audits, Inspections, Safety Conversations and Hazard Reporting.
Monitor work practices to ensure adherence to HSE procedures and standards.
Identify and report to the Site Project Manager and HSE Lead any high-risk issues that have the potential to impact on HSE compliance.
Actively review permits and risk assessments against the work activities and provide advice to the Supervisor and Work Teams if improvement opportunities are identified.
Assist the HSE Lead with coordination of incident investigations.
To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate the following:
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within the oil and gas industries.
Minimum - Cert IV WHS.
Understanding and knowledge of Australian OHS/WHS HSE legislation.
Self-motivated, team driven with a desire to add value to the discipline.
Personable with strong relationship management skills.
Flexible and able to juggle multiple priorities.
Strong communication (written and verbal) capability.
Well developed IT capabilities (i.e.
Word, Excel).
Have a high level of analytical and computing skills.
A current Drivers licence.
