Contract R-6 Teaching Position 2025

Organisation Information All Saints Catholic Primary School is a Catholic Reception – Year 6 Primary School with 559 students and is part of Catholic Education South Australia, in the Archdiocese of Adelaide.

All Saints Catholic Primary School invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the role of R-6 Teacher. The position will be fixed term contract, working 1.0 FTE per week. The contract will commence 20 January 2025 and conclude on 20 January 2026.
Role Details An understanding of and commitment to the Church's mission in Catholic Education & capacity to contribute to the spiritual & community life of All Saints Catholic Primary School and parish.A sound knowledge of evidence-based learning theories that promote learning for a diverse range of children, particularly in the area of literacy and numeracy.Excellent classroom management and organisational skills that create supportive and safe environments including skills in managing challenging student behaviours. Berry Street training would be an advantage.Highly effective communication & interpersonal skills to engage with colleagues, students & parents developing positive and inclusive relationships.Detailed planning & implementation of effective teaching & learning programs that include the integration of ICT.An excellent understanding of a variety of assessment & reporting strategies and the need to provide effective and timely feedback to parents & students.A demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with other staff contributing as a proactive and engaged member of a professional learning community.It is essential that applicants visit the Catholic Education SA website www.cesa.catholic.edu.au/working-with-us/positions-vacant to obtain details on how to apply, the Position Information Document and required Application Declaration Form.  Do not apply through the SEEK button.  The successful candidate will be expected to undergo our screening process.
